I unlocked Cav trying to play a roamer more, because I enjoyed the little bit of roaming I've done before, and I instantly improved with these tips.

Castle is seriously slept on as a roam, dude is amazing for wasting time. Playing on a adjacent set of rooms close to site where your team mates should NOT be moving into with that expectation can help get their minds off that side of the map and focus harder on other areas. Crating head holes and disrupting common solo/duo push paths can really help slow down the enemy. But key is to play ones life, so just waste their time but don’t get too aggressive where you get yourself killed.

Playing castle on site on my opinion is a bad idea not only because you shouldn’t be blocking off site and barricading windows and exterior doors is pretty pointless (unless trying to counter amaru rushes but just use frost or something for that tbh.) besides his gun isn’t strong enough to be fighting several enemies in a last moment push.

Instead making the environment work for you making the opponents uncomfortable to give you a upper hand is better.
