Ford makes conversions like that simple !!! My dad was a Ford mechanic growing up and extremely biased . Lived on a small farm, only non Ford vehicles were parts cars that dad picked up . Then lol it was ok . Great videos !!!!

Good job on the conversion. About how much would it cost for just the rear conversion? Bed + axel + misc parts? And also how many man hours if I did it myself? Mine is already 4x4. Thanks

I have a 2008 f250 2 wheel drive.
I want to convert it into a 4x4. So all I will need is the front axel assembly, manual transfer case driveshafts and spring pockets? Will transfer case bolt right up to my original transmission?

I like this, a while back I converted my 88 F150 2 wd, to 4 Wd . Nice easy bolt in . Ford makes that kind of swap simple . I used a wrecked 89 for parts . Easy Peasy !!!!

What is your opinion of dually spacers to convert an srw to drw, instead of swapping in the whole rear axle? I saw a video on them, and they look like a lot less work to install, but I wonder if they are rather flimsy.

Short of the spring buckets does the differential bolt in?

Did you have 4 channel or 3 channel abs. (2 sensors on rear or just one in center)

Im trying to convert my 99 f350 swd to a dually i got an axle from a dually but i had to modifie the planks where u sit the leafspeings move them out 2 iches closer to the rotors in order to sit my leafsprings right on but now my problem is that my tires are about 1 inch apart the leafsprings did u have that issue or do i have to add any kind of spacers ??? I would apriciate ur help thanks

i am looking at a 2002 f350 dually 2wd for a great price right now with the 7.3l 113k. i have a srw 2003 f350 7.3 4x4 already i have owned for a long time that i will use as a parts truck. both have the 6spd. so the only parts i would need to source are driveshafts, the front diff and brackets, will the 2006 axle setup like you used work for mine?
