TV dinners haven't just been staples since the invention of the microwave oven. They've been staples since the '50s, and were much better when they were cooked in the oven.

Corn dogs were invented in 1941, for the Minnesota State Fair, right here in the good old USA...Don't know where the English pub owner stole them from 21 years later, but he didn't invent them.

My mom came to visit & I made homemade lasagna - she did not want to eat it because she had only eaten the frozen lasagna! AND SHE HATED IT ! She finally tried mine and then wanted it for Christmas dinner!!!

Personally, I have a weak spot for Amy's frozen dinners. The wide array of choices range from Mexican to India and lots of in betweens.She has also created yummy vegan dishes as well.
Give 'em a try, there's something for everyone.

I buy Lean Cuisine meals. When I first bought them, when they first came out, they were pretty good.
Then the “reduce sodium” initiative came along and they complied. Still decent tasting.
Now I recently noticed that the sodium levels are increasing A LOT. Some entrees by a unnecessary 300 mgs or more!
Like the Salisbury meatloaf and Mashed potatoes. Went from 540 to 870 mgs.
It now tastes salty! Yuk!
I’m a label reader, because we watch our sodium intake. I won’t be buying all of these LC meals anymore.

Stouffer's Mac and cheese is the best. Their lasagna sucks though, no cheese in the layers. Just what is sprinkled and gets burnt on the top.

Obviously you have never had State Fair corn dogs. They are the best frozen corn dog on the market. They are made by the people who literally invented the corn dog at the Texas State Fair.

Try Stouffers Rigatoni with Chicken and Pesto. It's delicious, affordable, and has the only chicken in a frozen dinner that's not gross and rubbery.
