i have been try to calculate the value of resistance need to use in this circuit and the value is 480 ohm . Correct me if im wrong,
Voltage output sensor = 3.3v TTL
Voltage base emitter = 0.9v for (Vbe sat) Ic = 100mA, Ib = 5mA --> i choose this as the relay will consume aroung 80mA
= 0.7v for (Vbe sat) Ic = 10mA, Ib = 0.5mA
Voltage collector emitter = 0.2v (typical)
As for the formula to find R at base is

R= (V - Vbe) / Ib
R= (3.3 - 0.9) / 0.005
R= 480 ohm

and all circuit diagram i found is using 1k ohm and 220 ohm for bc547 and 2n2222 respectively.

Base on my calculation, if Ib is 5mA then the resistance is 480 ohm, but if i use 1k ohm, doesnt it make it Ib to 2.4mA and Ic around 50mA. That will half the potential of bc547 as it maximum Ic is 100mA. and one more thing is if the amp need to use in relay is 80mA, how can with Ic = 50mA support it.

In My Case it Continues keep Sending The High Signals while All The Connection Are Correct and The Jumper Is Also Placed On Non- repeatable mode. Any solution???

Can i put the sensor on tree . Bats are destroying the fruits . Can i connect the pir sensor to sound alarm system. Where can i buy this sensor . I have many trees . Bats fly away when sound is emitted. Is this waterproof. It rains a lot here.
