EVELYNN is Disappointing, Here's why || Evelynn #LoR Design Review

► Let's talk about one of the three new champions of Legends of Runeterra Patch 3.10, Worldwalker 2.0. Evelynn is amazing with her art and voice acting, but she seems to be missing some things to be perfect. While Husks are a great mechanic for Legends of Runeterra, Evelynn could receive a nice touch up to her effect to be more than just a keyword soup.

She needs a pasive for her region badly. Maybe just like when you have the attack token summon husk or husk have +1/0

Funny how Evelynn excited a lot of people in the teaswr trailer and once she was revealed they were disappointed, some even screaming their frustration in Reddit. Such agony, like this was all Evelynn's whole plan.

The main issue imo is just theme. They could have made Husk into a keyword that makes killed foes into Husks, maybe even a choice of one of three, so Evelynn would be all about generating power through killing foes. This would make sense for her theme. And her own effects feels weak. Her level up could afford to keep benefits from killed Husks and still be logically powered, ino.

I feel like they overdid it with Bards design so they played too safe with Evelynn and she suffered badly. The first champion in LoR that could use a full rework imho

Yeah, I feel like most of the champions feel similar to their LoL characters, but definitely not Evelynn.

LoL went out the window. They went with broader runterra lore for her theme. But even that implementation is questionable

her artwork is amazing, her voicelines is amazing, her level up animation, was also amazing.It felt really like Evelynn, except then, the gameplay.Its pretty boring and lazy design, and welp, it just felt like shadow isles except that Evelynn has her own deny as a champ spell exclusive to her.
