Also, it might not be grease it might be product/ mineral build up or residue. Try a clarifying shampoo, check if you're in a hard water area (I'm in the UK and it's atrociously hard, the minerals calcify the hair making it dull and heavy. I do a final rinse with diluted lemon juice to resolve this).

Also, double check if it's your leave-in products, like heat protectant, and swap heavy oils for a serum unless you're treating your hair before wash day.

Guys do not use the scalp massager on long hair when it’s wet it will break your hair do it when it’s dry before showering. (And for those who are gonna say “how do you know you’re not a pro” well my mom is and has been doing hair for over 20 years and this is what she told me)
