In this WordPress tutorial, Nick demonstrates how to change the WordPress Administrator Email Address (admin email) directly in the database using phpMyAdmin. This is a technical approach that does not require a verification of the email in order to make the change and is generally considered a workaround in a case when the WordPress administrator is trying to change the admin email in the /wp-admin panel but is not receiving the confirmation link to the new email in order to confirm the change.

Also, consider making a full website backup prior to making any changes. If you are not comfortable altering the database or file manager, please contact a WordPress developer.

The problem is that some Wordpress installations do not send the confirmation email request right away, mine took like 20 mins to send and then it didn't even work anyways. So changing the email through phpmyadmin was the only way for me to change it. Thank you Nick for your tutorial it helped me out bigtime!.
