Alocasia Bambino Care Tips and Propagation - WITH UPDATES!

The alocasias bambino looks very similar to the amazonica and polly. This species is the tiniest one out of them and has some very striking foliage, which I am not shy about showing detail views in this video. I share the care tips and propagate them in many ways, showing updates at the end of the video. This is a surprisingly easy alocasia and its beauty is often times overlooked. I highly recommend this species for every growers home conditions.

Love the way you say hello to all the surprise/baby plants.

I learned more about propagating alocasias in the first two-thirds of this video alone than I've learned from the countless other videos I've watched on here. Thanks for being so informative and passionate about your plants.

No one has better propagation outcomes than him. His comfort level and confidence with cutting plants are the best.
I just waited patiently for the outcome. I knew it would be great and I was not disappointed.

And you probably the best at explaining and showing us the methods of plant care I have seen on you tube.

I am glad I subscribe to you! When spring comes I’m going to check mine. I’ve had it 3 years now and it’s doing well. I paid $1 for it off the clearance rack. It was rotting. I cleaned it and loved it and got rewarded - thank you for sharing this today.

Literally every time I watch one of your videos, I learn something. I thought polly was the common name for the Amizonica; I didn't realize there were 3 different plants. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Agree that alocasias like more light than most websites say. The baby bambinos are so cute!

OMG you're a saviour! I was just wondering what to do to my Alocasia portodora because it has grown so much over the years that it's growth point is 20cm over the soil. It's really difficult to find information on what to do when the ...tuber? gets too big for your pots. The answer is right here get to cutting! A wholehearted thank you from Finland <3

My Amazonica gave me bulbs that I propagated in a shallow pont of a taperware . They all sprouted and then I potted them in potting mix and they are just fine! Lots of indirect bright light is the trick for bigger leaves! Thank you Sean for this super informative video!!!🙏🙏

A lot of good planting tips. I'll move mine to the backyard patio where it will get more light. Originally I kept it indoor east facing window and it grows fine but slow. Will see whether the new location will make it strive better.

I just purchased 3 plants yesterday. They were on clearance. I moved some of the dirt around and wow there was a corn sitting right there. I love your channel!

Great video. Alocasia propagation videos are such a feast. And wow... cutting the bulb of full-growth alocasia, only found in Sean's video. I will never bear to do it.
