fire benders being resistant to fire is basically like being resistant to bullets when you shoot a gun

Also I'm pretty sure if you use your plant armor ability and swim under water you don't drown? It worked for me at one point but you can try it.

Firbenders are resistible to fire if they go the slot heat control they can even stay in lava without any problem if they go to the slot where heat control is binded btw they don’t need to crouch or click to stay in lava if they are at the slot or hotbar
