Love working with the 300mm focal length and compression it produces. Works great with teleconverters too. Good for you Ken. : )

The focus limiter I have set to full. However the focus hangs up once in a while. What could that be? Enjoy your videos.

Is the hood that is on the lens the HK26 or HK22 (original) model ?

Looking to get this exact lens. I see that that is not the orig hood that is suppose to come with the lens and the one i am buying does not have a hood. The guy lost it.. is that by chance the hk-26 hood?

Just picked one up on ebay in "excellent" condition for $1881 shipped. It's without the hard-case so I think that's why it was under $2k. Pics look nice and clean and I can't wait to get it out to do a bit of birding and shoot some sports under the lights! Thanks for the recommendation Ken, I was getting a bit overwhelmed looking through the different versions. You're insight really helped me narrow my search!
