Gamify learning?

We want you to know about your gear probably more than you do. Not just to make it home alive but to enjoy crushing it when you are out playing with gravity. We might try to gamify learning. Youtubers like to make courses and then charge for them. That's not bad, it's just more fun to share valuable information than to withhold it. What if you earned money taking a course?

We are a big store doing big store things now. We just released our HowNOT2 points widget that floats around at the bottom of the website. Right now we are keeping it simple to work out bugs and break test the program so the first way to earn points is 1 point per $1 spent on full price sport items. The points can be redeemed for store credit and so 10% of what you spend comes back to you for more gear at the store. The fine print and faq is easy to find in the widget. Not trying to make this short write up all about that.

Point systems have lots of levers to be creative. How to earn them and ways to spend them. The hope is we can add an interactive ""quiz type"" piece to our ebooks or courses and you'd earn points by learning.
