Did you know that Gmail allows you to make certain modifications to your address that gives you access to unlimited email addresses for a single account? It's true.

For example, you can put a period anywhere before the "@" symbol and it will still get delivered to the same inbox.

Likewise, you can add a "+" sign before the "@" symbol with any additional text and this will also get delivered to the same inbox.

The fun part comes when you create rules and filters within Gmail to organize these new email addresses and use it to take control of your inbox. The possibilities are as endless as the email addresses you can create!

That is a good tip, but I believe that only works with some old websites, because most of the websites I've seen identify an email in that format as an invalid email, so they don't want to have people making accounts on their websites using that kind of email.

i couldnt get verification to work on a website so when i tried test-emailing, it keeps saying this:
" *Address not found*
*Your message wasn't delivered to (email name here) because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.* "

I currently have about 10 email accounts one for each profession I had created through the past 40 years, are you saying that now I don’t have to do that? Per your video here and examples, I take it I would just have to create these subfolder emails within those email addresses I already created, using a dot or a plus symbol in the first part of the email address before the @symbol🤷🏻‍♀️ correct?… so I’m not technically creating and registering a new email address altogether, I’m just telling Google I’ve created a different kind of folder And forward my mail to it, is that correct?

This is a great video, so easy to understand. I want to create a few unique emails using this method for members of a small group that share a single google account and gmail. I was able to create the unique emails and tested them, they work great.
BUT, I was hoping I could create a filter with an automatic forward for each "unique email" I created to forward to their personal email.
Do you know if this is possible?
I tried but it doesn't seem to work, each time I create a filter/with automatic forward with an unique email, it replaces the previous filter?
