75% of the shit he is saying that's bad about the phone doesn't really matter. If you are obsessed with every last detail about your phone, then fine. But for your standard user, this is a fantastic phone. :)

This phone is interesting and from our point of view looks kind of elegant. However, its price is a bit high, for a phone that comes with a front camera of VGA resolution. There are some HTC models that are more compelling than other, but we honestly think that this model isn't the case!

I love the desire 601. It was on sale for $199 so kinda a steal. Feels kinda flimsy though so a case is important. I installed close to 10 apps and it's still running very fast because of the dual core processor. Power save mode helps prolong the battery all day long.

Why are you complaining ? Its a blazing fast phone, Very good build quality, awesome boom sound speakers, and HD screen, for only 280$.

HTC One Mini or HTC Desire 601. I know the One Mini is a better phone spec wise, but is expandable memory a good trade off.

I have the htc desire 601, paid about $380 for it around mid feb. Love it so far.. infact I love everything about besides this: its a little too long and sticks outta my pocket, battery life is good once you turn everything off and leave the phone alone. If you run a app like the myboy Gameboy adavance emulator it will eat your battery life like hell.

I kinda want the new htc one (m8) because of the metal design but... wow.. its EVEN LONGER. I'm going to need deeper pockets -.-

That fact it can only playback videos up to 720p as you say, does that mean that part of the YouTube content simply will not play at all, or will it play them, though on a lower quality?

I need the verdict of other people for this: Moto G vs HTC Desire 601
Keep in mind that the HTC Desire 601's dual sim version actually has a quad-core processor instead of the single sim which has a dual core. Also, I don't mind getting a microSD card for the Desire, so in my eyes these phones are neck and neck and I really need opinions for which I should go with.

I'm really stuck... I purchased the Virgin Mobile Supreme on Black Friday and I literally JUST saw today, on Cyber Monday, that the HTC Desire was on sale. I don't know whether to return my Supreme and get the Desire? (if the sale remains and there is still some in stock). I just like how the Supreme has slightly better specs (Supreme has a 13MP 1080p rear camera), yet the Desire has Android 4.2.2. Both have the same battery life, similar speeds, similar size and similar storage capacities...
