This was so good and so dark when you realize that 97% of these characters are dead by the time the live action Alf show takes place.

His real name was Gordon Shumway before his planet exploded and came to live on Earth when the Tanner Family started calling him Alf. That's short for Alien Life Form.

And 31 years later and this opening is still as good as the day I first saw it and thought it was awesome. I recognize some members of Rockapella when I hear them. Loved them on Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego back in the 90's. I miss that show.

And then he teamed up with the Smurfs, the Chipmunks, the Muppet Babies, Slimer, Garfield, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Michealangelo to get some kid to not smoke weed...

This was the greatest intro to any cartoon I've ever watched.

I haven't seen this intro since the '80s and I'm super impressed by the singing on the theme song. It beats all the sitcoms from then. That being said I had the first comic book the first lunch box I was a super fan when I was younger.
