Simon Pipe - Om Mani Padme Hum

The album "Textural Resonance" is a series of audio responses to the paintings and other visual arts i've been experimenting with recently.
The project is a blend of instrumentation, programming and found sounds (audio i recorded in various locations, from the shak shak tree right next to my bedroom window to bird songs, waves, crickets, whistling frogs and gullies).
I recorded, composed and produced this body of work, and the second piece "Justin's Moment Of Peace" is specially dedicated to a dear friend who recently lost her son, and by extension to anyone struggling with loss.
I painted the album cover partially at home and partially at Sheena Rose's studio space, and i'd like to extend a special thank you to her for being a major source of guidance and encouragement in this process.
