Your chalk talk is an important part of the academic job interview, but this piece of the process can seem mysterious to many applicants. Demystify the chalk talk and set yourself up for success.

Senior Investigator and President Emeritus Robert Mahley, MD, PhD, presented this workshop as part of the Gladstone Trainee-to-Tenure Track Program.

We need more tutorial like this. rarely anyone teaches this or other faculty position seeking related experience and that slow down the efficiency which is bad to the research field.

I am just a master applying to PhD programs. One of them asked me to give 5 min chalk talk.. And I came here, it is not exactly same thing but it really helped..Thank youu 😊
Note: I think 5 min is more difficult than 45 min 😁

Old faculty should do a chalk talk too to keep their jobs. Most of them suck and would fail.😂
