Story:

Mario gets really annoyed by Luigi because he wants to go do his adventure himself. Luigi only wants to help him because he cares for his brother, but Mario keeps treating Luigi like dirt and keeps him in his shadow.

After Mario refuses Luigi to work together to defeat Bowser, Luigi thinks Mario doesn't really care for Luigi that much, and treats him like he was an asshole to him. Luigi then seeks revenge to make Mario sorry for what he's done.

Mario searches for Luigi because he found him gone from their house. Then he came across a castle where he had never seen before.

After going through a few obstacles in the castle, Mario then found Luigi...

Mario: Luigi! What have you been thinking! Running away from me? Just deal with it Luigi!
Luigi: SHUT IT! I'M TIRED!
Mario: E-excuse me?
Luigi: You heard me, I am tired of living in your shadow a lot! I was trying to help you but you treated me like I was such a big joke!
Mario: Well, it's because you know I get annoyed when you try to help me.
Luigi: I don't care! You keep treating me like dirt by pushing me away 24/7!
Mario: C'mon Luigi! How about you cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it! Because you're emotional!
Luigi: Hell no! lemme tell you this, you really thought Koopa worked alone?
Mario: W-what?

Luigi then beats the hell out of Mario

Mario: WAIT! LUIGI! WE CAN TALK ABOUT THIS AND WORK THINGS OUT!
Luigi: NO! THERE NOTHING WE CAN WORK OUT! NOT AT ALL!

Mario then beats Luigi up to snap him out of it

Luigi: Mario! I'm sorry! It's all my fault!
Mario: OF COURSE IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT YOU JERK!
Luigi: I just wanted to help!
Mario: I don't care Luigi! If you wouldn't deal with it, then non of this could have happened! I don't think I can trust you anymore Luigi...

Mario then grabbed the feather out of nowhere and turn into Cape Mario

Mario: You know what? FORGET IT!

Mario then knocks Luigi into the lava with his Cape powers

Luigi: OH GOD NOOOOOOO! MARIO, SAVE ME!
Mario: You really thought I would save you? You shouldn't have get over it! Help yourself coward...

Mario then left

Luigi: I-I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU SO MUCH!

Mario then woke up next to Luigi. Turns out this whole thing was just a nightmare caused by Magikoopa.

Mario: AHHHHHH! THAT COULD NEVER HAPPENED!

Somehow, Magikoopa then got caught and Mario beats him up to save Luigi

Mario: YOU'RE NOT GONNA GIVE MY BROTHER NIGHTMARES TOO! STAY OUT YOU RAT!

Plot Twist: Luigi actually decided to Go on a adventure alone without Mario, and Thats How New super Luigi u was born

Im glad it turned out to be a nightmare type dream that kamek made mario have. I just never see mario actually being this downright rude to luigi, and luigi to hate mario from leaving him. Both the bro’s love each-other so much, in the games, comics, and even in the movies. They are a duo that cant be separated, they care about eachother

I will admit Kamek doing that seems more reasonable then Luigi trying to kill Mario and hiring Bowser to cause problems from behind the scenes. Luigi despite being the underdog still cares about Mario regardless. It makes no sense why he'd go against him.

I like the idea of it showing Mario and Luigi going on the adventure, but showing how Mario barely cares about Luigi, leading up to Luigi getting sick of it and confronting Mario himself instead of the actual thing, where he has no reason to be mad and just makes Mario go through creepy stuff and then attacks, my only problem is that he still says “You thought Koopa worked alone?”, I feel like him saying “What’s the matter Mario? You thought I was always Player 2? Not anymore” would have worked a bit better.
Edit: Well I don’t expect that type of twist, are you serious Kamek?

I love how in the "I would kill to be in a position like you" part "I would kill you" fades away after the other sentences giving foreshadowing

On its own, ETERNAL HATRED doesn't work too well, lacking in buildup to Luigi's hatred. It gives us less reason for us to see the story from Luigi's perspective. The most we see is him being left out, not flat out detested like in Pixiel's version. Combined you can see the story from Luigi's perspective all too well.

I like that in this version it was all just Kamek making Mario have nightmares, it makes a lot more sense then the original, as Luigi might be overshadowed by Mario but he truly cares about and loves his brother and wouldn't go against him just because he got left out of some of Mario's adventures.
