Lmao, whenever people don't like the result of Gacha revenue, it suddenly becomes "THIS IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY"

Love and Deepspace huge success because it is the only game that female only pandering/husbando game with action rpg right now. Its like the game got entire gold mine for itself unlike waifu game that have to compete each other in one gold mine.

The community's obssession over revenue is just plain madness & honestly can't keep up, bruh.
And, this chart is nowhere near definitive with most of these games being up and running on other platforms.

The "SHOCKING" truth is this revenue not only doesn't define the games success, but this revenue is also questionable in itself. ☕

The numbers gotta be incorrect because I saw a recent report showing that Dokkan made 63 million dollars in this July because it was celebrating it's 9th anniversary

Imo genshin's revenue being high is a similar reason why candy crush have extremely high revenue, it taps into the casual players that can play these games without much effort

at least revenue and active player still objectively more valid opinion then hater or some CC yapping on internet 😂

FGO just had their summer event with swimsuit servants. The only time of the year it gets a huge boost.

Epic 7 got a boost from their newest ML Hero release which has been a fan favorite for years not to mention being absolutely broken.

Snowbreak boost puts a smile on my face. We all know the reason.

Concerning Honkai Impact 3, I dont see it making huge numbers ever again because they made it SO easy to pull unit + gear in their recent updates. I pulled everything in the last 3 updates without spending anything aside from the monthly card.

Same thing with Aether Gazer, the game is already so generous and showers you with gems but now they added a new banner with 20 more to hit pity but no 50/50s so you can get every new unit guaranteed with just monthly card and playing the game.

I have information on Reverse: 1999's revenue drop:

Not only are they in a lull period immediately following their anniversary patch on CN, there's been some drama on the back half of the month that pushed a lot of whales out, with Mercuria's banner. Apparently, she needs p3-5 to function properly on her own (and once she's there, she's EXTREMELY meta), and one of the posts about her ended up with over 1.5 million comments on (I think) Weibo.

And instead of apologizing right away, the devs released an early broadcast that didn't mention it, and instead said that they were working on buffing old units.

That, combined with the fact that J (the character before Mercuria) is widely considered mid in CN, definitely caused the numbers to drop significantly.

(Alongside the post-1st anniversary drop that most gachas I've heard of seem to have)

2.1 seems very promising, though, so I'm fairly certain there'll be a decent spike when that drops next week!

We have had multiple reporting issues with WuWa. I hope they come out and make thier numbers public. Something is definitely off.

Love and Deepspace is 100% my favorite mobile game right now, hot guys, fun combat, great lore, I love the interactive cards and dates. I've been playing since release so its great to see how far they've expanded in such short time

Wuwa left their mobile playerbase behind. While the PC looks great, to THIS day the camera function in the menu STILL doesnt save files to gallery. A Lot of asian players are turned off. ZZZ however feels great on mobile and virtually is a much easier pick up and has a bigger demographic, potentially bigfer than HSR (Genshin maybe not). Just plain marketing common sense really. I know for sure in my region a lot of Android players got turned off with Wuwas lack of optimizing and just simply would rather play a game that doesn't "frustrate" them.

I think we're forgetting something here. ZZZ, HSR, GI, heck even Hi3 (also tears of themis), even when one or two of those games are earning less than the other ones, it's still the same damn company that earns those mountainous stacks of money.

The quality of a game isn’t determined by its revenue, but I do hope that good games make a solid profit.
No one wants to see something they love being dismissed, especially not based on revenue. It feels unfair.
Anyway, I’ll keep supporting my favorite games so they can continue for a long time

Wuwa drop is understandable, seems like it will sit within that 10-20mil range (per region) which is very respectable, will be interesting to see what v1.2 does. Genshin being low, also understandable only rerun characters and everyone saving for natlan. Arknights i was a little surprised because we just got Shu and i thought first day sales might have given it a little boost will need to see how much of that bleed into august. i dont play other gatchas so dont care.

Genshin simple didn't earn a lot because there's literally 2 or 3 banner rotations of Re-runs since mid-June. It's not necessarily because of ZZZ it might have contributed but not the reason. Considering all the characters that was rotated on the re-runs was all must have characters most players already have them from their 1st released banner. The Newly released 5 star in July was Sigewine a character that doesn't really move the meta game it's not that surprising. And the characters that moved the meta was re-ran and the players already have them.

Also NATLAN Characters was teased. You bet their ass these Genshin Players are about to Unload on 5.0+. 😂 I'm personally All In on the Next Archon.

Eversoul is having heir 18 month anniversary this month and keeping the updates coming. I am glad you finally covered the game. The Japan release will hopefully revitalize the game.
