How is this fair reporting? This reporting makes it appear as if the judge is simply doing something odd. Anyone who has watched this trial knows the judge is clearly mishandling it, whether intentionally or due to incompetence.

For all those who haven't been paying attention, the prosecution has failed miserably in key parts of the process. This story by CBS conveniently leaves all the important factual stuff out...
First and foremost: they STILL have not complied with their discovery obligations. Cannon instructed the prosecution to fix that issue, and also to present a plan with detailed procedure on how exactly the supposedly classified material could be presented to the Jury. Cannon made it VERY clear that any trial date would be contingent upon those two things happening. Guess what, the prosecution failed to deliver on EITHER of them. ANY competent Judge would NOT ALLOW ANY CASE, even a civil case, to go to trial when discovery requirements have not been satisfied.

To all of you claiming that Cannon is siding with Trump because he nominated her, what do you have to say about Robert Hur, appointed by Garland, who of course was nominated by Biden. Special Counsel Hur said that while there was ample evidence to charge Biden criminally, he thought that Joe was too od an feeble to get a conviction. And remember, Biden NEVER had legal authority to hold on to ANY classified material when he was a Senator, and many of the docs in his possession were from that time, NOR when he was V.P.
