Weapon siphon mods don't have the 10 second cool down that heavy handed and fire power do. They still just give bigger orbs for more copies. 6:52

Been really enjoying prismatic warlock. This style build definitely carried my legendary campaign but now I'm messing around with lightning charge melee focused builds.

Yes- you can use solar buddy but the devour aspect makes it feel so much smoother to play than using buried bloodline. I don’t like hellion without ember of benevolence. Class ability recharges too slow without a strategist weapon.

Whenever I use buried bloodline my teammates steal my kills so I don’t get devour from chain kills. :/ devour in general feels worse when you have teammates (please bungie. Fix this. Let buried bloodline and ability assists proc devour. Would be huge QoL… also let assists with devour give you like 33% of devours effects. )

Why not just use Graviton Lance? I’ve been using this build with it and I love it.

I much rather drop the solar buddy to have devour procc on consuming the grenade. In a less enemy rich environment you will end up with no grenade energy and struggle hard for the actual encounter and, if in a really hard activity, compromise survivability too.

with the frequency of grenades you truly do have the flexibility to chuck a storm nade out if you want

I'm telling you that you should try a threading build. Hoil, verity, weavers call, feed the void, Phoenix dive, threadlings grenade, Incen snap. It's super fun and really good.

In all honesty, them adding "Feed The Void" basically puts it as best in slot and it will be used for all the top builds. The illusion of choice is gone when it is used for every build. I think it would have had more variety if they added a different aspect.

I suspected you were underestimating the potential of Warlock builds with Prismatic. Love this. Too bad I don't have Buried Bloodline. I'll be running a variation of this build often all the same.

I ran this for most of Day 1 (with Buried Bloodline) and it truly crushes. I'd recommend using Lead From Gold on your sidearm, with heavy ammo finders to keep things topped off. Then replace the legs mods with surges for the extra damage.

I have such a hard time relying on Buried Bloodbline for devour. I end up with a similar build but giving up on Hellion for the Devour on ability kills. That version of devour is also much stronger so I get more bleak watchers out.

Have you thought of using Facet of Command? Itll auto reload your weapons when you freeze enemies. Really handy for DPS

Golden tricorn works with any ability (except arc soul) as long as your super matches the element of your weapon.

I found this while i was messing around trying to get all of the soul buddies active at once. That wasn't very practical, but i found out just how good arc soul with bleak was. Some people use the helion turret, but i prefer devour.

Honestly firepower is still worth it with devour and arc soul you get crazy fast nades so you can throw one in between arc souls
