I heard people around me say that we shoudn't accept evoloution and big bang theory as they don't align with Islam. But I always felt that they didn't condradict each other so I couldn’t accept their words

It was discovered in 1931 whereas the quran stated it 1400 years ago:
"Do the disbelievers not realize that the heavens and earth were ˹once˺ one mass then We split them apart?"
(21:30) Quran

Dont you know that the earth and heavens were once together, then We split them assunder

We will show them Our signs in the universe and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that this ˹Quran˺ is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is a Witness over all things?( Qur’ān 41: 53)

That's a dishonest answer because we know that when science contradict religion, religious people will discredit science instead.

"Ya Allah! Verily, they are helpless, so help them"

The thing is you'll keep discovering new things but you'll keep asking more and more questions. But, the very beginings is simple, God almighty. But for what have been created and all the scientific theories etc is up to us to learn it. After all, God gave us the capabilites to think.
