I think the guests are more concerned about the quality of the bed, mattress, linens and pillows or it is simply not crisp and clean. I see a lot of people floundering in their AirBnBs simply because their decor is shabby. There is nothing so annoying as a guest as sinking into a saggy mattress, or sheets that slip off (worse yet, polyester sheets!) I have stayed in hundreds of Airbnbs and experienced it all.
