THE FLUFF:
The McDonald's Chicken Big Mac is a twist on the classic and it’s definitely not not a Big Mac. Two juicy tempura chicken patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese and pickles on that signature sesame seed bun.

If you ask me, the chicken from the CBM was dry and unseasoned. If you were to substitute the chicken with a McCrispy, then this CBM would be something to write home about.

This is going to be a massive hot take, but I think the OG Big Mac is overrated. Call my tastebuds messed up or whatever, but I thought the Chicken Big Mac was an improvement. The chicken is basically two oversized McNuggets and the McNuggets are some of my favorite items on the menu. I think the sauce tastes better with the chicken too and it also felt ACTUALLY filling compared to the normal Big Mac. I understand people not liking but people are seriously calling THIS the biggest flop when we had stuff like the Mighty Wings? Nah, u guys are being way too overdramatic. This sandwich is perfectly fine. Not godly or anything, but it's not nearly as bad as people think. Or maybe my McD's isn't terrible or something. ;p

I had it the other day. Perhaps a sauce that’s more compatible with chicken would have made a better tasting sandwich. But, I don’t get Big Mac anyway because they’re charging a Quarter Pounder w/cheese price for the price of 2 McDoubles.

Why does the chicken pattie have horizontal lines on it? It looks kind of bad... like I could make it at home for less money and it would be higher quality...

I'd much rather have the chili cheese bites, Cadbury mcflurry or snack wraps that the UK gets that we don't. I remember the chicken big mac from years ago and it wasn't good then either.

The McChicken is my favorite budget sandwich, well was, because the price keeps going up. I think the McNuggets are good, just not a favorite. The chicken patty for this is basically a big McNugget. I thought this sandwich suffered from too much breading. I added onions to mine to have all the ingredients a Big Mac has. All I really tasted was special sauce, pickles, onion and bread. I much prefer the OG Big Mac and I'll stick with the McChicken, at least as long as it remains under $4.

hard pass for me.... just order mc chicken with mac sauce or ask for a side of it.... dont buy in to the hype.

For me this was pretty bland, but that can easily be solved with a different sauce choice. Awhile back I took out the burger patties out of the Big Mac and subbed it with the spicy chicken patties, I liked it much better than this version. CBM could use some pepper at least

Not for me. I like McChicken and practically lived off of them for a while back when they were a dollar. I would not even want those as a replacement for hamburgers on a Mac though. I like beef personally. I will say that thing looks about a 100% bigger than what passes for a Big Mac now though.

I found the Chicken Big Mac incredibly bland. The chicken had no flavor, and even the Mac sauce couldn't save it—it was just too dry. They should have used a couple of McChicken patties and called it a day. Overall, it was a dry, flavorless sandwich.

Hmmm. I was kinda excited to try it. Maybe I'll just get me a regular Big Mac next time I hit Mickey Dees.
