It's finally done! ^^ The ultimate showdown with Senpai VS Boyfriend. What used to be just a simple serenade between gentlemen, plays out as a tragedy of roses and thorns in the end.

Kinda had an idea with how this song would play out involving Senpai's transformation into the spirit. I thought it would be interesting if I played off the title of the song and made that part of Senpai's 'corruption' if you would say, with the roses and thorns.

Fun fact: the vines were spirit manifesting. And the custcene where senpai's face bursts is the vines stabbing his face.

Kind of symbolically translates to the feeling of being trapped.

(This came into my head while watching this part of the animation.)

BF: *gripping Senpai's arm, not caring if the thorns on the vines cut his hand* Dude, look at yourself! This isn't normal! We can continue this rap battle some other time! I don't want to continue while your like this! Even GF is worried!
*Senpai looks down at his arm that's wrapped in rose vines, his face clearly reading that he knows there's a problem, and seems a bit worried. His expression quickly changes as he reacts, seemingly pushing away his true emotions and replacing them with anger.
Senpai: *pulls away from BF, clearly mad* Don't touch me you stupid, blue, rat! Nothing's wrong! You shouldn't be worried about anything you ugly worm! fine. I don't need help.
