I watched this yesterday and came across a comment that said "I knew you were gonna ask for money when I read the title". I didn't here you ask for a dime. I had to stop myself from replying to her ..it wouldn't have been nice. Came back today and couldn't find her comment. Anyway..Rachel..you are awesome and I'm so glad you let us be part of your journey😊❤❤

I think you can buy a framed roof specifically for the dog kennels that goes to a peak in the middle like a normal roof so water and snow can’t weigh the tarp down

Ooooweeee' ... the preparation was real! Nice vision for the set up!

The neighbors complaining about what's going on on 10 acres of land is disturbing.

This isn't a residential neighborhood. They're far enough away!

I’m a day late 🤦🏾‍♂️ but I pray that you guys and all the dogs are safe. You guys are working hard out there doing the best you can to keep the dogs safe as possible. It’s a lot of work going into it but I know you got it done. Side note; Nirvana looked so cute with just her head sticking out her house. Laying there looking so sweet and innocent.

Guess what Ms.Rachel, so I been looking for a cane corso and mentioned you alot and your kennel. I use all your teaching over the years. Different breeding owners ask the same questions, "have you ever had a large breed and do you know anything about the corso." I mention you, some breeders know you and some are watching now. The expression and interest of the breeders are amazed and stunned. I told them, I have a wise mentor and still learning.

If I weren't neck deep in preparing my mother's house for sale, I'd seriously come up there and donate a few days of work to you. I have family in the vicinity, so seeing them would be part of the trip. It's HARD WORK getting an operation set up, even harder when you are dealing with livestock, or in this case beloved dogs. Maybe once this damn house (which my parents neglected for decades) is sold.

Good luck and I'll be hoping and praying for you.

Hi Rachel if you use a pole at the front of the kennels attach it to the fencing higher than the back then attach the tarp to it should run to the back if it rains or snows just an idea 😊😊
Looking great tho 😁😁😁

The metal things that were on the bottom that you took out are they long enough to go across the tops instead then put the tarps on top of those? Or just ply wood big/wide enough to cover the tops? Then the tarp wouldn’t droop? I’m n NC so I’m right with you with the weather change. Praying for your safety

You could use rope in the middle tie it to the trees, toss the tarps over, so that it looks like a ⛺? Just an idea, I hope all it all works out for you and the doggos ❤❤❤
You all stay safe and warm ❤ 🙏 Sending positive prayers and vibes to you all!!!

You could just put one end of the plane very high on one side and on the other side you can put the ends 40 cm lower and fix with cable ties in the back of the kennel.

Wamman, Happy 2022! Take notes on where the water and snow melt run off. You will need this info for your building info. It will be a challenge when the weather moves in. Prepare as best you can. Next year you can get a CAT diesel generator. If a homesteader got one donated I bet you can too! Will solve a lot of issues. God Bless Y'all 🙏🙏

Me having an STCC marathon, watching videos from start for the 4th time and Rachel uploads a new video: Paus the video, watch the new one, go back to the marathon. I swear I keep learning new things!

My daddy tarped our huge patio and he used a 4x 4 post in the center to allow rain to run off. Thick plastic around the back of those kennels might be a big help too because wind blown snow may blow right into those kennels. Also. Get some straw and load their houses up. It's hard when snow gets to 2-3 feet, and wind and ice... I'm just saying. I love you all!
