Why is Getsuga Tenshou Ichigo Only MOVE #ichigo #shorts

It's because Ichigo has no special abilities like real soul reapers have.His power move is just him firing his massive reiatsu like a Hollow Cero.

Getsuga Tensho is a Shiba family technique. It's why Isshin also has it.
And thx to Quincies, we know that Reiatsu memories are a thing, so that's how his power got the Getsuga Tensho name.
As for why it's his only attack, it kinda isn't. Zangetsu's power is to condense and fire reishi. These can be fired however Ichigo wishes.
It's why he can generate slashes without swinging his sword. Unlike traditional slashing techniques, which apply power to the swing of the blade to generate a slash, generating the slashes ARE Ichigo's powers.
Zangetsu's ability is to generate reishi slashes in all shapes and sizes. And those slashes possess the name "Getsuga tensho" thx to Ichigo's Shiba heritage.

I think its even simpler than this. He simply had no time to train to learn techniques. Even Toshiro, the youngest captain, had a solid 20 years to learn a bunch of techniques before the start of the series. Ichigo pretty much is fighting nonstop or training with a specific purpose not related to learning multiple techniques over the course of the series.

Everything in Bleach happens QUICK, like from Ichigo doing deputy work to Aizen getting sealed is a period of 6 months. The arrancar arc and initial invasion starts 2 weeks after the Soul society arc ends. Ichigo fights Yammy and Grimmjow in the same week. A day later he seeks out the vizards, and over the course of the next month he finds a way to control that power. Orihime’s kidnapping, Hueco Mundo’s invasion, and pretty much every major fight in Hueco Mundo as well as every FKT fight, including Aizen’s defeat happen in half a day. Outside of the Dangai and Vizard training, Ichigo quite literally has no time to even truly explore his powers without doing it via trial by fire. He then loses his powers, regains them after 17 months, Then he doesnt get time to truly train again until he reforges his Zanpakuto.

More than Ikkaku, Zaraki, Hisagi. About as many as Renji, Aizen, Hinamori, Kira. Few Zanpakutos have multiple abilities, and when they do, they're just variants of the same. Hitsugaya has a million Zanpakuto techniques that all amount to the same effect: to freeze shit.

Getsuga tenshou, Kuro Getsuga tenshou (black getsuga/Bankai Getsuga), mugetsu, Getsuga Jujishu, Gran ray Cero Getsuga aka Cero Getsuga (manga when he fights Ywach again and nearly kills ywach), blut vene, Blut artery(post time skip after TYBW as stated by Kubo).
Kubo also stated that he will be working on the next arc based on his one shot post TYBW aka the hell chapter, the new arc name has been officially revealed as "Breathe of Hell" and kubo did say ichigo has mastered all his abilities.
Plus his original blue getsuga is actually a Quincy getsuga as blue is the colour of quincy, red hollows, yellow is shinigami and green for humans/fullbringers.
His kuro getsuga aka black getsuga is actually mixing the spiritual energy of shirou/white who's is red and Ywach/old man Zangetsu who's spiritual energy is actually black just like Ywachs in tybw.
By the way, the reason his moves are all getsuga it comes from his father and my guess is the shiba clan arr tied to the moon cause Getsuga means Moon fang, getsu meaning moon. Zangetsu means Slaying moon and Isshin's Engetsu means Piercing moon.
Kien shiba's Zanpakuto is a water based Trident and even Water has ties to the moon based on currents and the phase of the moon. Thus why the Tides change depending how close or far the moon is from earth being low tide or high tide.
Also Shiba is a place and is the name of a Dog Breed found in Japan the Shiba Inu.
It was also revealed that Ywach/oldman Zangetsu was holding back majority of his power the entire time leaving ichigo with like 20% of his power, that would also mean abilities as Old man Zangetsu didn't want ichigo to be a shinigami, most of what Ichigo knew, he learned from shirou Zangetsu like how to properly use a getsuga.

He is also now able to use cero, and mini spoiler, he can also use gran rey cero, and sonido.

In the novels we see an artifical Ichigo so to speak and that character being a hybrid can mix arrows with bala, sonido with bringer light and shunpo, hierro and blut, etc. If ichigo decides to train, he would be able to combine the abilities of all the factions

Answer: he never has a true sword until Thousand Year Blood War, his sword was White taking the place of it when he would enter the form of a soul reaper as explained again in thousand year blood war until he got a “real” zanpukto that allowed for White and Black Zangestu to manifest in the small blade and large scabard form that can shift between between the twin blade and single blade state as explained by Kubo on Club Kubo when asked about the Hell Arc.
Also the single blade state is basically his unreleased state while the twin blade is more or less Shekai

Why is it his only attack? Because it's his Zanpakuto ability and he hasn't had the time to learn alternative skills like kido.

So the atk he shares with his dad is from his shinigami side. Rather than fire, its a dark energy showing his hollow side. Then, the normally close ranged atk of his fathers, turns into a ranged atk showing his quincy side.

And then there is Naruto who gets trolled for using the same 2 moves in the entire series.

Like Kenpachi he relies mostly on swordsmanship. The Getsuga Tensho fits him perfectly since it's basically a flying slash. White also taught him how to attack by swinging his sword by the cloth but he only does it once in canon, filler, and videogames. And according to Ulquiorra, the black Getsuga he uses in his Vizard form is different and is like a Cero Oscuras. Also in his first full hollow form he can use the Cero and in his new hollow form he can use the Gran Rey Cero.
