Thermodynamics is the deepest core of our understanding of how the universe works. And yet there are two distinct approaches – Carnot's and Boltzmann's. Carnot's engineering thermodynamics is more general than Boltzmann's mechanical thermodynamics. Carnot's superseding thermodynamics offers a participant framework, and, per hypothesis, a resolution of 'the reality question' generated by quantum theory.

Really? The fundamental units of the Universe are (well-intentioned) engineers ("workers" producing work), which are mechanical manifestations of Carnot (heat) engines? Work was never defined in Carnot heat engines. Temperature was also never defined. How does one then define both temperature and work without the statistical mechanical view of particle ensemble collisions or for that matter, QM in quantum thermodynamics? So you throw away every aspect of particle or quanta-based physics in exchange for the ad-hoc definition of a Carnot heat engine. Also, the truism that Carnot efficiency is not attainable unless the process is reversible is false. Irreversible processes can theoretically reach Carnot efficiency utilizing Feynman Smoluchowski ratchets (FSR). Unruh temperature (radiation) is also now experimentally falsifiable. If you are going to attempt to justify Carnot engine fundamentalism by using the notion of symmetry-breaking then you should at the least know what is symmetry-breaking. Symmetry-breaking occurs when there are (quantum) perturbations that manifest imbalances in certain properties. If Carnot engines are symmetry-breaking of energy, then what are the quantum perturbations of energy? This is a really annoying naive engineer-centric, name-dropping, scattered presentation jumbled up with terse and flippant criticisms of almost all physicists in favor of a simplistic Carnot-engine-based engineering neurosis.

Then at 12:41 the ball earth. I am a christians and while fascinated by the mysteries and scholars of physics i am sure that the wisdom of man is foolishness to God. Was recently intrigued by universal acceleration owing to the twice yearly reemergence of small rocks when cleaning my dirt floor chicken pens. I know the chickens are not bringing them in and yet here they are, again. I surmise the rocks are being pushed up from below, somehow. Anyway, relativity is id dead. Flat earth rules.
