We need more down to earth judges like Mr. Caprio. Where there is no violent crime being committed, just violations of traffic laws he is using his vast years as a judge with compassion and understanding.

This guy is such a good and fair judge. I like how the little girl said $50 and not $0. She was smart and honest enough to know there has to be a consequence for doing something wrong. Very good kid.

I love how the judge talks to Janine. He refrains from any comments on things she can't help, like being tall for her age, even though you can see he's surprised she's only 6. He frames the conversation on her aspirations, says "WHEN you graduate college, " (not if, ) and he gives her so much agency in their interaction, focusing on fairness, clearly laying out options and making her comfortable in her choices. Such a great example of how to talk to kids.

For just a moment, the judge made the little girl forget about her shyness. It may not seem like much, but that is going to impact her for the rest of her life in a very positive way. She's going to feel like she has a voice, she will be able to share her thoughts and opinions to other people. And that is so important for a child to be able to develop. I praise this judge in every way and i hope he will always continue to do this for children and their families
