Zoom Basic / Free vs. Pro Account - seven features you are missing

Zoom offers two types of accounts: Free accounts, which Zoom calls Basic accounts, and Paid accounts. There are several versions of the Paid account. There is Pro, which I'm using in this video to do the comparison to the Basic account, and there are Business and Enterprise accounts that are paid accounts. It really comes down to Free vs. Paid for my comparison. I'll show in this video the 7 main features that the Basic account is missing when compared to the Paid account.

Zoom free account:
1) Unlimited 1-on-1 meetings
2) 40 minute limit on meetings with 3 or more people. You can as one of the people if you are the host. You can still have an unlimited number of meeting up to 100 people, but the meeting will time out at 40 minutes with three or more.

I have a free Zoom account. There are seven noticeable features that are missing.

I didn't mention it, but Recording is a major feature that is missing. You can record to the Cloud with a Paid account.

For reporting, there are three reports I use frequently. I use Registration reports, Polling reports, and Attendance Reports. Reports are only with paid accounts and not free accounts.

One of the nice things about registration which I use for our Guild's storytelling programs is that I can get an email when some one signs up and in reports get a list of names and emails of every one who does. I create a tiny URL for the registration URL for my promo material.

Chris, thank you. I have a paid Zoom account with Webinar enabled. But my 'Dial in' by phone feature is disabled. How can I enable phone numbers so people can CALL in instead of using the computer or cell phone? Thank you.

What "license Count" actually means? For the pro version, it means that I can have up to 9 pro licenses (9 different people and e-mails) having access to the pro version, for 149.90USD?

Hi, thank you for the video . I have a pro account, If I give my teachers admin power would they be able to start a meetings and not have the 40 minutes time limit?? Also can 4 admins start different meetings at the same time? Thank you.

Question: Thanks for the video breakdown. re: 03:52, in order for someone to schedule (like an assistant), they have to have a *paid* account also… and **on the same account** as well? Does that mean they need to be added as a 'member'? (I'm trying to rig myself to be a host/moderator *for* a client -- and have access to his account, trying to dial in these settings)
