It's also an arm based processor and has to emulate all non arm64 apps. Meanwhile, the studio runs them natively. Significantly better performance by default in the studio

Never thought laptops were too thick. I saw a gaming laptop 10 years ago and yeah, too thick for daily use but man, I just need something with good battery life, can run the apps I use comfortably and won't burn my lap if I dare to run a YouTube video. The 2020 intel MacBook Air I have is impressively thin but I miss magsafe, proper USB ports and it struggles if I have discord and YouTube open at the same time.

The only real reason i can think of for Surface Laptop Studio is gaming, or maybe if you need to use proprietary Windows programs.

I will pick a maxed out macbook any day, i mean it is probably more expensive, but Surface is also not exactly cheap

Also, there are massive spec differences - the Lenovo beats it on almost every graphic and spec test... It even has better ram because it's ddr5 versus apples goofy ram

Let's be honest right now, the MacBook has no other fucking purpose execpt work, " tHe FiRst GamIng MaC" Can't even run games the only games it can run are minecraft and roblox, like bro if I'm paying 3k for a laptop it better have a rtx 3080 intel i9 11th gen 2 tb Nvme, and that shit needs to be on highest quality, like bro when you accidentally close the MacBook lid to hard the screen cracks.
Edit: I forgot to mention that Apple announced in their event that the new MacBook is for gaming even the game they showed on their own damn event didn't run..
