Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: Most exciting rumors

Been saying for years that they (Samsung) would combine the two, since it made perfect business sense. The two phones are virtually the same and to make two phones that are virtually the same is not cost effective and downright wasteful. The Fold will become the new larger sized productivity machine that the Note used to be and the S series will continue to retain some of the old Note features to keep Note fans happy.

If we're not allowed to have expandable storage, then the base storage should be 1TB. 256GB is not impressive at all. And the 1TB should be offered on all models including the smaller options.

The only way I'll be dropping my Note 20 ultra is if the S 22 ultra is red, which I've been wanting to see on the Note series from day one and two, a much smaller camera bump. Oh and matte surface on it. Why they chose to leave black out of the matte colors on the Note 20 Ultra and have it on the S21 a few months later was truly ridiculous. Either way, glad to see they're still possibly keeping the glorious multitasking s-pen!

Samsung should be working on software optimization and battery life. Samsung is like Apple, but in this case the physical appearance changes while the internal stays the same.

You mentioned the S22 Ultra is a Note with a new name. That, and it appears, a new release timeframe.

Since the Note was always 6 months after the S in the fall. Used to be the tech stepped up by then, but lately the tech hasn't jumped significantly between the two.

The Exynos processor will still be in the S22 series in certain regions, just less than previous Samsung devices. This has already been confirmed by the way.
