I actually want to talk about wolves hunter in the first match cuz he did something really clever,
In the first match with WBG we see that the hunter banned merc and forward, which is normal. But Alex banned patient and seer, which at first I thought was odd and I’m sure others did as well, but I realized that a reason he might let them use two powerful meta rescuers is because they’re slow at decoding and Alex wouldn’t get as cipher rushed. He also banned the 2 characters who counter BW. If you look at the two matches side by side all though they play the same hunter they use very different strategies which change the outcome completely.
Identity v should make me an announcer im just saying

I want to talk about the first match
Alex didn't ban forward right, in competition forward if utilized well, may affect the competition drastically. Thus Weibo might think that Alex brought excitement. However, he brought blink yet he didn't utilize blink until near end game. Therefore the survivors wouldn't have know what skill alex brought. THey probably guessed excitement. Therefore Forward as a harasser didn't do much
