Honestly, out of all the years that this tournament took place, I'm glad I got to take this one. The level was insane with some new faces as well as some returning faces and the amount of diversity in the Canadian Beatbox scene is mental. Everyone was really good. The only thing that bothered me was how everyone kinda jumped to my side of the stage before the result was announced which I thought was pretty disrespectful towards Andre. I even told HeAt that I thought that was disrespectful while we were on stage. If you are ever in this situation, just try not to be "that guy". Nonetheless, that doesn't take away from how awesome Andre did and he deserves some massive props. I could tell he's got some new motivation after this and you should look forward to what he will bring to the table next time.

All that being said, I've decided not to enter the Canadian Champs next year. Although it is considered tradition by some for the champ to attempt to retain his title at least once in order to make sure the next champ (if there is one) deserves that title, I've spent way to much time preparing for tournaments and I rarely get to just sit back and enjoy watching a good battle. I also have no doubt that the next champion will deserve his or her title on the basis of this year's level being so high, and next year's surely being better.

Sorry for the little bible, and thanks for all the support and the cheers I got that night. Means a ton to me.

This battle was one of the funnest battles I've had, hands down! Elisiii thanks for being a great opponent and challenge for me, i wanted to take u down pretty bad :p and that still eats away at me, just for the competitive fun xD, u are really into beatbox and to me, whoever is into it more wins, and this isnt my time, its yours, your amazing :p, hurts me to say that because i used to be way more into beatboxing, but u are leading the way for canadians, please keep doing that, hope you battle again, so we can hear more of your material and be happy for it :p xD ^^. P.S. you are really unique, but in the moment I was focused on remembering my rounds during the battle, and that blocked me from hearing what your really doing in the moment but also, being unique to me is also creating your own sounds, i always looked up to beatboxers that do that, and thats why im obsessed of creating sounds xD.

There were many beats I know i wanted to do, and throughout this whole tournament, nervousness got me stuck on the build ups or doing a crappier version, losing some of the cleaniless to my sounds in the process, but damn I will say the challenge is a part of the fun for me and i'll beat that one day, my own challenges. Sometimes i feel I should have just freestyled in a round and did my favourite things on the spot after watching some of the rounds back. Tbh I didnt realize It was 3 rounds even in the moment, i was too zoned in and didnt realize I did tech for 2 of the 3 rounds lool.

i guess one other thing.. dont matter but, I've been beatboxing for about 9 years now. I was never introduced to the beatbox community even the youtube or online side of it and didnt know about beatbox shoutouts for years. I came up with combinations on my own... and a few canadian beatboxers would vouch for me to that. this "Synth" sound stuff and even hollow liprolls I never tried to copy from them from any one else or even the laser liproll, or any "duck sound" beats and such. Its way too fun for me to come up with things on my own. Believe it or not..! Not saying I was the first to do them, but, it was new for me :p. I remember when I first showed other beatboxers my stuff, and it was new to them too, but i mean 1 year or even just half a year later, it wasnt new to anyone lol. Example.. one day i was just sitting in my chair and i thought if clops can be hollow, why cant liprolls, and i found out hollow liprolls that way and maybe thats why mine sounds different than most and so deep, i never tried copying it from another person then changing it to be different. eh or maybe cuz i have large lips xD who knows
