I can't say that I miss Luke as I didn't know him. But I can honestly say that as a woman in my 40's that loved 90210, my teenage heart broke knowing that Dylan McKay is gone. That's who I knew. I am sure Luke was a dear, sweet man. I'm sure if I knew him, I'd miss him, too. RIP to Luke and my beloved Dylan McKay.

Dylan and Brenda will always have my ❤️ but I also loved him with Toni and her death nearly rips my heart out every time I watch it. The one line I can never forget is Dylan screaming Brandon as he pulls Toni out of the car

His father's death scene still brings me to tears. Yeah, I know it turns out he (spoiler alert) wasn't really dead, but Dylan's reaction, and Luke Perry's acting in the car explosion scene, was tough to watch. He and his father finally start growing close again, just for that to happen. So gut-wrenching.

Best scene is on that same episode, When Luke as Dylan says tells Brandon (Jason) you're the best friend I ever had. I don't know if it was scripted because Jason almost breaks, like Luke's leaving the show.

90210 was The Best Show geared towards teens in The 90’s. It was also the first show to discuss serious teen issues in the story lines.
My friends and I never missed an episode and it was always the topic of discussion at lunch the next day. It’s so hard to believe it premiered nearly 30 years ago. The Mojo was absolutely right on the number one Dylan storyline. RIP Luke Perry.
