Arma 2 was fucking next level man, Id find my self playing "when diplomacy fails" for hours. I forget what the OA equivilent was of that game mode but it involved the brits too... just awesome setting up your own missions to run with an AI squad, and the fact you could get somewhat in depth with the orders you give them. Just a legendary game all around

I don’t really miss Arma 2. But I’d happily reminisce about how cool it was playing it. I remember discovering kidding in armaholic (rip) and all the amazing mods like the original PRACS mod and the takistsni military overhaul mods. Or even the micro jet. I think if there was one thing I’d want for arms 2 is just a 3d editor. Arma 3s editor is really nice for that reason. But yeah, seeing ai that can call in air strikes and stuff is just too much fun~

ACE 2 for Arma 2 was so immersive. It never really felt as good with arma 3.

i remember in the A3 alpha people being so hardcore arma 2 they just went back lol glad people can enjoy what they like!i see people playing reforger now and im like naaa ill just stay here lol

Bro ArmA 2 was the goat. Fighting in takistan with jsrs and ace was next level. The immersion was crazy. Arma 3 never really got it right unfortunately. They had their priorities all fucked up adding scuba diving and dumb stuff like that

I thought I was crazy for remembering ArmA 2 as being far superior to ArmA 3. I've got close to 3000 hours on ArmA 3, and it never felt as good as ArmA 2 MilSim used to. Glad I'm not the only one.

Ola, tenho muitos mods no meu arma 2, e estou com o bug no singleplayer que quando eu crio uma missao quelquer e coloco npcs, eles depois de um tempo, ficam parados no em pe, mesmo voce atirando neles, vc tem uma ideia do que pode ser?

I still don't know if this is modded at all but to this day Arma 2 always looks like a way more amazing experience.
