Hi, How to connect the Wifi SD card to a desktop PC without Wifi through the router with wifi?

i just order a eyefi and after using it, the only thing is that doesn't allow allow to pick which photo you want to transfer to the phone or tablet. It transfer photos automatically and if you have more then 20 photos you gonna be waiting along time to completely transfer them photos, more then 30 mins.

Many years ago, there was SDIO cards with WiFi functionality. It wasn't another enviroment but upgrade for device.

Hmm.. Been thinking about buying one of these fellas for transferring from my rx100 to my Nexus 4. Not too keen if your not able to select individual pics as and when. Relatively expensive too and sure to kill battery on both phone and camera. But, if you've got to get images from A to B this could be for you. The more reliable option for most would be the otg cable. Insert your sd card into the otg reader and connect to your phone/tablet. Of course not all smart phones come with this option. Like my Nexus 4! Most Samsung's seem to work ok. And the Nexus 5..

what about the battery life of the device that uses it?
Will it drain faster because the Eye-Fi always emit wifi signal even when we dont need it?
and also is there any password to connect to the wifi network?
of course I dont want someone near me looking through all my pictures just because I use this product

That's so stupid .. if you put that wifi card that should mean you remove the memory card which contain tye photos, then what are you going to transfer .. wtf

The Eye FI card sucks.  Loses connectivity with Ipad after transferring first shot cleanly.  Won't stay connected with my Ipad despite being inches away from camera.  Returned this POS.  Junk.  Don't bother.

One of the suckiest reviews I've come across lately, you just forgot to mention how this works. How do you set up an account on the card? is there a way to access photos on a web portal or a windows/mac app? Is there even an android app? Thanks for nothing but the fake accent.
