I believe i have found content that no one else has ever seen in Baldur's Gate 3...The way to pull it off is just so non-sensical that no normal person would ever come accross it. Luckily for you, I'm not normal, and have shared these insanely hidden secrets for all to see. Join me in this look at the Netherstone's hidden fail-safes in Baldur's Gate 3.

This content may not be super extensive, but it shocked me that I'm still finding anything after 1400 hours played. If you enjoy this type of content leaving a like is the best way to help my channel. Thanks for watching!

For anyone thinking I stole this from Reddit i'd suggest you double check who wrote that Reddit post before saying anything lol. (It was my post)

I'm surprised the emperor doesn't say "you left kethrtics stone behind. A wise decision. I will safeguard it until the time is right"

This reminds me of a guy losing his honor mode playthrough because he stole the orphic hammer and told the emperor to piss off only to realize he left the hammer in camp.

No doubt there will be line in Patch 7 patchnote "Fixed softlock that was caused by curious one who dropped netherstones in jungle"

It’s funny how these failsafes feel like something straight out of a typical D&D game. You can feel the DM improvising these solutions on the fly in a desperate attempt to rerail the campaign.

Can't wait for the next patch to involve one of the dinosaurs showing up in the marketplace with the stones

omfg I didn't know that Larian was THAT carefull while doing this game, It was really made with love.. I never thought I would see new interactions.

It's funny to me that all those game overs where the party turns into Mind Flyers are basically the Emperor removing protection out of frustration at your stupidity.

During a playthrough I actually lost a netherstone. I just realized near the end, when I needed it. I eventually found it, but I can only imagine the tales of the hero arriving for the critical moment, realizing he forgot the most important thing ever, leaving and coming back a few hours later. The party should be pissed lol

Hahaha this feels like a DM move frustrated with the player’s derailing antics.

The DM coming up with increasingly implausible ways to save the plot from the derailing players

if the emperor weren't already bald, he sure is now from the stress we inflicted on him trying to lose the stones. the only time i ever came close to losing ketheric's was breaking out of wyrm's rock prison and nearly forgetting to take my inventory stash with me

The Jungle area was probably missed probably because it was incorporated later into development for an interesting side-quest.

I'm literally shaking my head realizing how insane Larian is for giving us these options while also making these failsaves for them. The amount of detail is insane, I wonder how long we'll continue to find hidden secrets like these.

I also love Larian for the fact if you show them this video, they'll actually add a failsafe for the jungle location exactly for that scenario. Larian really are the GOAT.

The kobolds running off with the gems leading to an instant game over, as well as a few other times this happens, really increases my respect for Larian. There is a limit to how much they are willing to hold players hands.

Although, without really intending to, the last time I was at the Gith'yanki Creche I talked myself into an early grave 😅

there might be another place where you could loose the stones, in the sorcerer sundries there is that magical lamp that you could be trapped in, if you summon a creature you will be teleported out and if you dispel the summon the lamp gets destroyed, so it could destroy the stones if you drop them in it

I'm surprised they made three fail-safes for the Iron Throne when just the bloated fish would cover all of them. That's Larian for you.
