I went to Syria in the mid 80's, it was aTourists dream. I have been to Aleppo. From what i can remember it was beautiful. And old. I also went to Balbek on the border. And a giant Fort. The likes you don't see in Europe. It was a Crusader Knights Fort back in the day. Blown to smitherines now. Isn't it meant to be the end when Damascus lies in ruins?

Honestly, this has to be one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. The footages these legends managed to capture is unbelievable. Someone got shot a meter away from the camera man. They recorded a suicide bomber for the week leading up to the day that he did it. These are utterly rare footages showing the worst side of our species.
