I saw a neurologist for the first time today. I noticed his degree on the wall said Psychiatry and Neurology. I asked him if he knew anything about Benzos causing neurological issues. I was shocked when he said yes, in the last 5 years there has been more evidence of that happening.
He ordered some bloodwork and scheduled me for an Electromyogram test.

I'd come off benzos, pregablin, ritalin and snri in 2021. The scariest and toughest experience of my life, a horrifying experience difficult to put into words I'd lost my mind. I will never take those pills again.

I wish I knew what would help the electrical shocking sensation like a cow prod or electric eel. Felt it for about three years now.

I know what that feeling of being electrocuted. I can't find a doctor to help me so I just been trying to taper using Xanax. It's so much harder coming off Xanax than Klonopin. I'm so stupid for getting hooked on these things again after being on them prescribed for like 8 years. Now not one single Dr will put me back on them. I'm just going to try to wean as low as i can, and then go to an inpatient detox. The only thing I can think of. I'm so mad I didn't know about all this stuff before being prescribed them everyday. I wonder if you can sue the doctor that gave them to you for years. I went to see my old doctor that used to prescribe me them and he's like "oh no that's not good for you", it's like did you forget you had me on them for years?
