Can someone please help.... I have a problem that makes no sense at all. "A zoning ordinance requires that any property with impervious coverage that discharges more than 100, 000 gallons of water in a 4-inch rain storm must have a retention pond. The subject property will have 260, 000 s.f. of impervious surface. A cubic foot of water contains 7.48 gallons and a retention ponds can hold no more than 500, 000 gallons for safety reasons. What is the amount of water being displaced." Can some solve and explain, major thanks, (I'm using a HP12c calculator).
