Not all class 10 cards write/read at the same speed. This card has a max 20MB/s read 16MB/s write get 71 fine images in 24 seconds. The SanDisk Extreme III class 10 has a 30MB/s read write speed gets 100 images in the same time.

the image itself affects the times too, you have to compare with the exact image, make a trial with the cap put in, and see how increases the number and speed...more complicated the image more time.

For those of you that are noobs to this, id just like to say this transcend card at class10 performed at 70% of the sandisk class10 card...the images were take in quality FINE, and jpeg...the transcend showed to load the buffer more and the sandsisk never slowed down...if you want great value and never use highspeed RAW+jpeg shooting then transcend class10 is for you if you require real speeds and dont want to be conned by specs labeled on the packaging, and take pictures in long bursts of RAW or RAW+jpeg formats then the sandisk extreme class10 is for you... the transcend is cheat and a lie and devalues trust in our marketing system

@scrutley To be honest this can be slightly deceptive. The auto focus slows down the camera and limits the shutter speed. If it is dark the focus speed becomes painfully slow. Try putting your camera into manual focus to get the same results.

I'm also using a D90 but I'm having great problems with my Transcend class 10. The read/write speed is appalling. Not sure if there's anything I can do about it. It definitely can't do what this video does!
