The private sector has always been involved in education. But now with a boom in social impact investments, social entrepreneurship incubators, education entrepreneurs and the like, this panel will discuss how private capital is impacting the education sectors, in particular in emerging economies.

Why is it happening now? Is private capital having a real impact on quality and/or on access? How can innovative models be harnessed to best serve common goals? How can public systems and private providers build strong partnerships to enhance access, quality, and equity? And what will be the influence of technology on the evolving financial models in education?
