Pigeons have a lot of character. They bring me such happiness when they fly and float around in the wind, very graceful. I wish everybody loved birds. I truly loved this women and the bird she introduced, her little green cheek conure. This little bird had so much brightness in her spirit, she loved every bird she saw and would scream for their attention. I can't say enough how much I miss them and wish I could go back and change everything. I messed it all up.. they changed my life for the better, while I offered nothing good in return. I'll never forgive myself until the day I die.

Good on you for looking after him, i have 3 of my own I've rescued 2 cast off racers and a feral. 2 of them have had eggs that have hatched on this very day infact. Pigeons are great pets, they're full of personality, courage and capable of true affection. Thanks for being kind to them.

He's so happy to have been rescued by you!😊❤ It seems that someone has cut his flightfeathers... How cruel and irresponsible!😖 It's really dangerous for pigeons (makes them helpless in case of an attack since they can't fly away and die as prey), so please make sure to give him a lot of vitamins, proteins and possibly keratine-based pigeon-friendly supplements❤ And most of all - keep him safe indoors!😥
The Pigeon-Aid Foundation who often help me, have recently picked up a poor pigeon torn out from a cat's mouth in the very last moment - someone had cut off his flightfeatheres and he was unable to flee...😢 How cruel and thoughtless!😭 I hope that Rocky will get back his flightfeathers soon and have full flight skills!🥰

Pigeons can be amazing critters, l used to enter some of my birds in races, and to prepare them for the race, it "to my mind" is to get them to think for themselves, to break away from the flock, often many thousands of birds, ! To achieve this, I would take them many miles away from there loft, and single them off, that is take them one at a time, let them go and wate until the birds just released is "well" out of sight then do the same with the next bird, !
Anyway one day a bird that l relesed, flew into a wire on an electronic pilon and fell to the ground! The place we're it fell was nearly a mile away and and l surched the airia to no avail! I let all the other birds go and made my way home !
Around 3 days later l saw a bird land on my loft, when l examined the bird, it was the blue bar cock, that had crashed into the pilon, it's wing had a very large lump on his wing, but he had managed to make his way home "several miles ", to get back to his mate, ! The lump never got any better, and l had to keep him in the loft with his mate, and 2 sets of squabs that he and his hen successful raised! He was a happy contented Pigeon, l know this as an unhappy animal will not breed

It seems that you cut the feathers of his wings. You only needed to install screens at your windows. My rescued pigeon flies free, sings, and dances for me, all the time. I NEVER cut his feathers.
