Hey man I just want to point two things I noticed that we’re wrong. One you skipped the next verse which literally says “but ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.” Meaning that the day will not come as a thief to believers.
Second you mentioned that it says nothing about the wrath of God which is wrong. “For when THEY say peace and safety” is talking about the world. Sorry if this offends you but your only looking at what you want to see.

Hello Gabriel, I can understand your point of view. I was always of the same opinion. 1.Thess. 5 says the following: 2 For yourselves know perfectly that *the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.*
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 *But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.*
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 *For God hath not appointed us to wrath* but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ...
In 1.Thess 1:10 Paul also mentioned that we will be delivered from the wrath of God. The wrath of God has come in Revelation 6:17.

A study on Revelation in combination with Mathew 24, Mark 13, 1 Cor.15 and 1.Thess. and 2. Thess. can lead to some questions:
1. do you know who the 24 elders are? Why are they in heaven before the tribulation? John did not know them. As you know they are mentioned in chapter 4. 
2. And who are the dead appearing under the altar in chapter 6 during the tribulation? 2.Thess says that the dead raise first after the antichrist is revealed and the great apostasy has occurred.
3.In 1.Thess 1, 10 Paul says that we will be delivered from the wrath of God. Chapter 6 verse 17 in Revelation says that the day of the wrath has come.

4. Why is the church not mentioned anymore after chapter 3? John was caught up into heaven right after the letters to the churches.
5. Why are only the 144.000 are sealed and save from the plagues? Does the Lord want us to be harmed by them?
I would say that there are many more questions.

I used to be pre-trib 30 years ago and I would argue with my mom who said it's the last day! Well 30+ years of following prophecy and I have to say we are now in the end days. With what is going on today we are seeing prophecy unfold before our very eyes! Stay strong for we must endure.

Guys. There is no secret rapture before tribulation. We are in the tribulation, go and tell the churches in tyrannical countries that they will be spared persecution and tribulation and they will laugh at you as they've had only tribulation all their lives. Go tell the apostles that they need not worry about tribulation. Just because you live in comfort you think tribulation still needs to come? Yet 95% of the church has been persecuted already and has lived through violent tribulation.

I disagree. He says that destruction will come upon them! Not us. Wouldn’t Paul be warning us. How can this encourage us? This is not correct teaching

Who cares if there is a rapture or not and when or not it's going to be.
I think what really matters is our faith and staying true to God and Jesus until the end no matter how bad or good it gets. 🤷‍♀️
I made peace with myself if there is a rapture first good if not ok I just have to prepare for the worst with the mercy, grace and protection of God.

The rapture is a false doctrine that started in the 1800s. It is the great deception that will lead most christians to take the mark of the beast because they are too proud to believe they will be here for it. I suppose you could say they will be raptured away from the body of christ to eternal damnation.

No rapture until God come, we all will face the tribulation

God said unless you repent you shall likewise perish. God said that faith without works is dead. Even the devil and his demons believe in God and tremble, We need to repent and do his will. We can’t just expect to go to heaven and sin whenever we want. Once we receive Jesus Christ we are to obey him and do his will. Spread his gospel. And we are to teach repentance. Letting go of sin as much as possible. God bless
