Hyundai & Kia Recall 500,000 vehicles!

Make sure to park your vehicles outside of your house. The many makes and models could catch fire even while the engine is off.
some vehicles included are 2016-2018 Hyundai santa fe, 2017-2018 Hyundai santa fe sport, 2019 Hyundai santa fe xl, 2014-2015 Hyundai Tucson, 2014-2016 kia sportage suv, 2016-2018 kia k900 sedan. Kia has the recall due to a faulty hydraulic electronic control unit which if a malfunction occurs it could cause a short and result in a fire. Hyundai has a recall over a bad anti lock brake system module that could also cause a short in the engine compartment resulting in a fire.

My 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe had the ABS lights on dashboard and on 4/20/24 it caught fire while parked. No recall was ever issued on it. If you have those lights on ABS, ESC and down hill don’t wait and get it checked.

Got a letter to park my TuK-Son (LOl) outside, that was almost 5 months ago, now got another letter stating the same thing. Called Hyundai corporate in Fountain Valley, CA. Still getting the run around... Does anyone have more info? Class action lawsuit?

Nevermind the 2012-2018 engines in most of their cars having bad rod bearings that go bad and cause car fires. My Kia Forte's motor blew up and caught fire from the bad rods they put in them. I was the second owner so they wouldn't replace under warranty and even though they recalled almost all their other motors with this issue they didn't recall their 2.0 motors in several hundred thousand cars that are having the same issues as the recalled ones. Kia only recalls the ones they get hit on a class action suit for. DO NOT BUY KIA. THEY DON'T STAND BY THEIR CARS MAKE THINGS RIGHT WHEN IT'S OBVIOUS THEY SHOULD.

Get your cars dealer serviced. They do secret recalls during routine maintenance. I have a ultra low mileage 2017 Santa Fe Sport. I love the car so far. When it gets old out of warranty I will most likely do my own oil changes. No one in my bubble has anything negative to say about Hyundai. I’m on my first one. I know many on their second and third purchases. Hyundai has stood up on their engine replacements . All companies have problems.

The question is why aren't the makers of these death traps being investigated & the sale of any of these vehicles being banned from America? Why aren't they being held accountable? That's the question & many other questions, like who is making them? Where are they coming from? & many, many more important questions.
