Star Citizen News [4K] Server-Crash-Recovery! 400i + ROC, CitizenCon Goodie Pack & more

With the new server crash recovery, we no longer have to fear losses after a 30k server crash. Server crashes will, however, continue to occur.
The Origin 400i has received some updates so that higher vehicles can also be loaded, which also enables ROC mining with the 400i. The chrome skin is now also available individually.
The CitizenCon Goodie Pack is being distributed, but there have been delays.

Thank you for the update, Karolinger! Fantastic news about the changes to the 30K server crashes. I'm glad they tweaked the height of the 400i to make it possible for ROC hauling. But talk about a tight fit, haha!

finally some good news. For my point of view the Server-Crash-Recovery si the most important update for the game play. The 30k for many of us is not the problem (we accept that we are into an alpha game), but the staff loosing was another topic.

Server-Crash-Recovery saved me multiple times in PTU already. Unfortunately you lose everything due to bugs like falling through the floor.

Sounds like they've made the 'unknown location' return the ships back to the nearest point, instead of remaining in an unknown state. A more robust version of the workaround we used by hailing the station. I look forward to trying it out.

If loading a ROC in a 400i still scratches the paint on the ship, leave it like it was or ruin the model some more so that it at least works properly.
