We do "chicken fried steak" for deer too! Yum. You now have me so curious to try lamb.

I use lamb all the time we love it. If you get the leg butterflied and deboned they make a wonderful roast done med rare. My family loves it. We also use a lot of Greek recipes so you get some variety of things to do Oh I so would love to be at your house about now!!!

That is a great price! Here in Aussie the cost of lamb is easily 3 times that! Maybe more.

Two sheep is not a lot of meat for a large family for a year. Why only two? Seems like it wouldn't be a lot harder to add another sheep or two next year. How much other meat do you have to buy from other sources?

Just curious - did you factor and add in the butcher's fee?
