I was looking for Freud's theory when I found Karen Horney's theories and it's so sad that most people know about Freud and not about Horney. I'd like to see more about nreurotic needs and trends, i'm so invested in this.

At the time that I was reading Karen's books, I was watching a group of young soldiers, male and female, over many months. From direct observation, I witnessed numerous parallels in the behavior around me and her writing. She further explained my environment to my relief.
