RS 660 | TOP SPEED | VS 675R

I tested the new 47T Superlite Aluminum rear sprocket on my RS 660, and compared the top speed to the Daytona 675R.

APRILIA RS 660 SPECS: Full Exhaust System SC Project CRT - DNA Air Filter - UpMap (Gabro) - Superite Aluminum Rear Sprocket +4 Teeth (47T) - DynoJet SAE 88 HP at the wheel.

TRIUMPH DAYTONA 675R SPECS: Full Exhaust System Yasuni - Power Commander - DynoJet SAE 118 HP at the wheel.

Both bikes were dynoed at the same Dyno.

The RS 660 did a good job keeping up with the 675R. The rear sprocket helped a lot. If we kept going the 675R would have created a larger distance as it IS a faster bike with 30 HP difference.

This is to show what a tremendous effect a shorter gearing can have on a motorcycle's performance. +30HP and it could keep up.

Wow that is a pretty suprising result. Those gears really make a difference. So if the rs is doing 146 after the gear swap, what was it doing before?

Have you ever thought of ceramic bearings? Think that would help? I ordered some. I'm doing titanium bolts too and a lighter rear rotor.

Man I was doing 140 but with good weather conditions and a new exhaust. Now I’m doing 152

On the site it says 115db at 5250rpm
But could you tell me how loud it is at idle and at rev limiter

Just out of curiosity whats your avg fuel usage looking like with all those performance mods?

replace the sprocket with one with 1 tooth or more, can't you see that it is braked by the rev limiter?

Can u tell how would it feel if i go from my r6(2003) to an rs? With the mods u have. i m like amateur rider so i think it will not miss power for my skills

Remember to subtract 5-8% from whatever the speedo says....
