Son reunites with his mother after being detained by Israeli forces for 60 days

Diyaa el-Din Ameer Abu Mousa describes the moment he found out his mother, Fathiya Abu Mousa, was alive after being detained by Israeli forces for two months.

Having travelled to Be’er Sheva for medical treatment, she was arrested by Israeli forces while visiting her sister and initially believed to have been shot dead.

She said Israeli forces tortured her and other prisoners, threatening them with solitary confinement and keeping them in handcuffs, with very limited access to medical care and food.

Israel released a group of seven Palestinian detainees from the Kuseife checkpoint. They were transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in Gaza.
